New Features
New Registration Module
-
Functionality for organization to register and activate their implementation of HIFIS.
-
A banner will be displayed below the main menu indicating the current registration status (information banner). Status of the registration is also shown in the bottom left on all screens.
-
This new feature is integral to identifying your organization and the exporting of data to ESDC.
-
An unregistered instance of HIFIS will remain in evaluation mode from the date of installation. After 90 days of evaluation HIFIS will limit a user session to 1 hour before logging the user out. HIFIS will reduce the session limit by 10 minutes per week until 125 days of evaluation after which all sessions will be limited to 10 minutes.
-
Upon activation, organizations can now select to: (A) reset database to its original state – “original factory default”; or, (B) keep as is and work their existing data.
Managing Instances of HIFIS
-
Organization can leverage the new information banner feature and configure it to identify the instance type of their HIFIS implementation (e.g.: Training, Staging, Testing, etc…).
-
Different instances can be configured and managed from a single authorized instance.
-
The instance type of HIFIS is displayed in the bottom left on all screens. Auto Export of Data to ESDC
-
An activated (production) instance of HIFIS 4 now automatically exports anonymized data on a quarterly schedule if no export has been completed manually as per the following: April 30th; July 30th; October 31st; January 30th
