Let's re-imagine Case Management. Right now, you can add Sessions, Comments, and Documents to it.

However, a point of ongoing debate is when to add a Service as in Goods & Services, and when to add a Case Session. They have similar but different fields and are stored differently in the database. Here's a radical idea: get rid of Sessions entirely and modify the Services so that they can be added either as part of a Case file or as an independent, non-associated Service. It would also be great if we could add Goods to a Case.

In the Referrals proposal, we suggest adding a new tab inside Case Management to allow tracking of multiple Referrals inside the same Case file.

We've also proposed including a new tab for assessments (VI-SPDAT, SPDAT, VAT) inside Case Management.

Let's look at all these proposals in combination and what does that get us to? The idea that a Case file makes sense conceptually as a bundle of related services.
